To replace a car starter

Goodwill is an electric motor, interference prone as any other electrical component in the vehicle. Over time and after thousands of switching cycles, start the starter motor that is electrically connected or short and create an opening in both the electric motor or solenoid for the starter. Before condemning the starter, it's a good idea to remove and take it to the local auto parts store and have it bench tested to ensure that the starter is bad. Otherwise you might end upto replace up to, this is a good starter in perfect working order.

Once you have verified that the starter is bad, do the following to replace it.

Jump Starter

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. This will ensure that you do not get the replacement of the shock electric starter.
2. Jack the front end of the vehicle on jack stands and remove the positive cable of the starter with a wrench or ratchet.
3. Remove the door starter signal (in black) than the starter.Just off hand.
4. Remove the two screws that secure the starter to the engine block. You use a ratchet and extension, if you need it.
5. Pull the starter from the engine compartment. Place the new starter in place and tighten the screws.
6. Connect the positive battery cable to the starter and the ring signal to the starter solenoid.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Connect the negative battery cable and start the car.

Suggestions:

If there areSide dishes that were on the original starter, you have these discs on the new site launch. The discs are such that sufficient distance between the starter and flywheel. If you do not agree with the side dishes you can damage the starter motor and flywheel. If there were no shims original starter then ignore it.
